What will you do as a SHE Executive?
As a SHE Executive, you will be responsible for driving the terminal’s efforts in achieving the approved SHE plans and targets. You will also provide SHE governance and ensure legal and corporate compliance with Workplace Safety / Health and Environmental Protection. In addition, you are expected to manage the security-related matters of the terminal. This role reports to the VTS/Terminal SHE Manager

What do we expect from you as a SHE Executive?
At least 3 years of experience in safety, health & environment management in a similar industry
Certified Workplace Safety & Health Officer with the Ministry of Manpower
Certified Fire Safety Manager with the Singapore Civil Defense Force
Demonstrate exemplary SHE behavior and motivate others to follow
Able to analyze and conduct critical thinking to identify gaps and improvements required
Your core responsibilities are:
Act as the terminal’s Registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO), Registered Fire Safety Manager (FSM) and Port Facility Security Officer (PFSO) and perform his responsibilities as required in these certifications including the supervision of the terminal's security team
Ensure the terminal operates with minimal impact to the environment and comply with legal environmental protection regulatory requirements
Support and monitor the terminal’s SHE permits and licenses applications / renewals
Coordinate the occupational health & industrial hygiene programs in the terminals
Coordinate risk management, workplace inspections and WSH Committee meetings
Act as the Terminal’s WSH Committee Secretary
Monitor and report the terminal’s SHE performance and progress on improvements made
Support the terminal’s SHE legal and internal training obligations for all employees and contracted workers
Propose improvement opportunities to the terminal management from the analysis of incidents’ trends
Support the terminal’s preparedness in emergency response through the organization and monitoring of emergency drills and exercises

Implement the terminal’s SHE initiatives and Must-Win-Battles (MWBs)
Support the terminal’s drive to achieve a proactive safety culture
Engage contractors for their continual improvement in SHE performance
Support the terminal in the event of an emergency or crisis
Collate and prepare the required reports on the terminal’s SHE performance and programs
Ensure Permit to Work, monitoring records, etc. are updated and maintained
Support the training and safety culture programs for VTS employees and contracted workers
Develop employees and contracted workers on all SHE aspects in the terminal
