As our Regional Data Analyst, you will be a critical contributor to the Commercial & Business Development team, providing business analytics and strategic insights to support successful operational and strategic initiatives in the Asia & Middle East region. As a strong team player, you will partner with the local subsidiaries and other cross functional teams in the region and global to meet commercial goals. Responsibilities:

Business and Market Analytics

Provide strategic insights and forward looking analytics to enable decision making by the regional Commercial and Business Development team.
Perform detailed business analysis for specific transactions, including (where required) financial modelling, variance analysis, pricing and coordinate follow-up with various stakeholders.
Conduct analysis of our own business activities and those of competitors, as well as selected markets, products and regions.
Is constantly updated about market trends and dynamics through reports, research and stakeholder engagement and provide market insights to the team
Be the focal point for continued dialogue with external vendors/resources supporting market intelligence and strategic consultants’ engagement.

Coordination of Commercial Agenda / Governance Execution

Ensure that data and reporting needs of the business are fulfilled, identify the gaps in analytical and systems support and proactively fill those gaps
Coordinate regular engagement with the commercial community on business and market performance, as well as competitive dynamics and trends.
Monitor data quality, data analysis methods and data metrics.
Collaborate with other functions in the organization to develop initiatives and strategies that could further improve commercial performance.
Coordinate and facilitate commercial governance execution such as reporting, anti-trust, sanctions, levels of authority compliance, and deviations from standard commercial contracts.
Coordinate and rollout of key commercial systems as well facilitate the training roadmap with the Global learning and development team for the various subsidiaries and joint ventures.

Digital Transformation

Develop solutions to maintain comprehensive industry, competitor, market and customer models analytics, including, market share, growth projections, trends and market forces.
Use and continuously enhance existing tools, methods and systems for collecting and interpreting data.
In close collaboration with Finance and IT functions, develop/design automated solutions for the generation and consolidation of commercial information (both back and forward looking) to help in driving data-driven business decisions aimed towards performance tracking and bottom line improvement.
Assist with the implementation and adoption of relevant business information systems across operating units.

Requirements:

Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, and Engineering preferred. Diploma holders with solid experience and skillsets would be considered.
Prior Data Scientist work experience preferred.
Proficient with Microsoft Office, Business Intelligence tools, and data analytics solutions.
Demonstrated experience in dashboard visualization tools such as Power BI, Data Studio and Tableau.
Good problem-solving, market analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
A team player, who can work independently with cross-functional task forces.
Proactive, attention to detail, results-driven
Strong data driven story teller with excellent communications interpersonal skills and stakeholder management skills.
Strong ability to plan, prioritize and organize.
