What will you do as a Lead Maintenance Engineering?
You secure the availability, complete integrity and mid-long term maintenance program in such a way that the terminal can rely on high quality assets that meet the requirements of our customers and the authorities.
Work includes development of integrity plans, maintenance plans, assessment of inspection results and equipment behavior as well as maintaining contacts with Operations, the Maintenance and Repair department and the Project teams. The job will be carried out on site in collaboration with our maintenance and project teams and the Inspection and Support department within the Europe and Africa Division. In addition, you coordinate all activities related to the management and improvement of the asset integrity including the required data and documents, procedures and the maintenance management system.
A gross annual salary between € 60.995 and € 91.493 depending on your experience, knowledge and attractive bonuses.

What do we expect from you as a Lead Maintenance Engineering?
Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field;
5+ years’ experience in a integrity and/or maintenance engineering position;
Demonstrated leadership skills;
Knowledge of and experience in asset management and document control concepts and systems (e.g. ISO55000);
Adequate knowledge of Maintenance Management Information Systems (such as Infor);
Basic knowledge of different disciplines such as civil, mechanical, piping, E&I and process automation;
Strong conceptual and analytical skills combined with a focus on details;
Focus on continuous improvement and disciplined execution;
Good interpersonal skills and good communicator, able to communicate effectively, both in Dutch and English in all layers of the organization.
What does your day look like?
Contribute to the reputation of Vopak as a safe and high-quality organization for all stakeholders;
Lead the local integrity engineers, maintenance engineers and inspectors;
Prepare the integrity and maintenance strategy and set up and manage (preventive and inspective) maintenance plans for all equipment on our terminal;
Support and advice Terminal and Technical manager in ensuring that risks are acceptable in line with Vopak policy and procedures;
Take the lead and provide input in the 3 years maintenance plans in a way that fits regulatory requirements, business needs and financial health of Vopak Vlaardingen;
Define, monitor and control the asset integrity data;
Ensure the quality and integrity of technical documents (SPF) and maintenance data (Infor);
Secure a process for good transfer of projects towards Maintenance;
Prepare for and participate in internal and external audits;
Develop and improve annual maintenance plans and periodic (progress) reports, including cost estimates, budget preparation and execution schedules regarding maintenance and inspections, in order to meet the predetermined targets and legal deadlines;
Analyze and report maintenance and inspection findings and translate results in (adjusted) maintenance plans or repair or replacement actions (continuous improvement);
Work on best practices, guidelines, continuous improvement and internal procedures;
Key user of the Maintenance Management Information System (Infor);
Contact person for the Inspection & Support (I&S) team of division Europa & Africa (E&A).
