What do we expect from you as a Maintenance & Reliability Engineer?

  • Degree in Engineering with GPA min. 2.75 on a scale of 4.00.

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant engineering experience in Maintenance Management.

  • Good communication skills in English

  • Shows commitment to safe work best practices.

  • Familiar with principles and application of Maintenance / Asset Management techniques such as RCM, RBI, FMEA/FMECA and RCFA.

  • Having knowledge of design and inspection codes, standards and regulations (i.e., API, ASME, NFPA, etc.).

  • Preferable to have experience in the oil & gas industry.

  • Experience in the usage of EAM/CMMS programs and Reliability Engineering tools.

  • Strong ability to manage, plan, schedule, and coordinate.

  • Strong analytical skills, data analysis, modeling, and interpreting data.

  • Proficient computer skills.

  • Ability to train & lead others in a technical role and interact with all levels of management.

  • Builds positive/effective relationships with clients and co-workers and demonstrates focus on satisfying both internal and external customers.

Your core responsibilities are:

  • Supports the maintenance organization to develop the 3-year maintenance plan (OPEX maintenance and repair).

  • Responsible for setting up the preventive maintenance requirements, create/update preventive maintenance schedules based on the 5-year maintenance plan and criticality assessments in order to keep the assets in optimal condition.

  • Periodically analyses asset- and maintenance performance to optimize the preventive maintenance schedules.

  • Develop and maintain up-to-date asset register, Working Instruction (WI), and also make sure all programs are updated based on safety, regulatory compliance, and company standard.

  • Provide technical advice to the team as necessary for improving the effectiveness of departmental operations.

  • Effectively utilize predictive and other non-destructive testing methodologies to identify reliability problems, such as Vibration Analysis, Tribology, Thermography, UT, PT, MPT, etc.

  • Perform/lead Root Cause Failure Analysis efforts for problematic critical equipment issues.

  • Contribute to successful work completion by participating in the resolution of issues such as conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of material, and difficult coordination requirements.

  • Assist in preparing specifications and cost estimates for internal and contracted renovations, modifications, expansions or installation of overall terminal facilities and utilities.

  • Assist in determining objectives and cost-benefit analysis to contribute to the development of a comprehensive design.

  • Actively participate in keeping the safe, healthy and secure work environment and also environmentally friendly.
