Financial internship at Vopak Global Business Development

We are looking for a financial intern with a passion for analyzing and interpreting financial data for the Global Business Development department at our head office in Rotterdam. Within our open and informal culture, we strive to get the best out of our people. Requirements

• You should be enrolled in a University and your studies should be Business or economics related, preferably with a focus on Finance

• You will remain enrolled in a Dutch University till the end of your internship period

• You are living in the Netherlands

• You have strong analytical and structured thinking skills as well as a hands-on mentality

• The usage of MS-Office programs, especially Excel, is a must.

• You possess a dynamic work style and a high goal orientation

• You are motivated and willing to learn quickly

• You are fluent in English and Dutch

What we can offer

• An internship in  2024 in the Global Business Development department of world's leading independent tank storage provider

• Flexible workplaces, combination of working from the office and from home. In good consultation with your line manager

• An internship allowance of 500 euros per month for HBO students, and 600 euros per month for WO students based on a 40-hour work week;

Your role as a financial intern

• Translate financial data into valuable business insights to the management team.

• Gathering and analyzing data to provide meaningful financial insight to management regarding the company's historical business development project funnel.

• Creating a Global Financial Framework based on (historical) investment proposals to improve the decision making process of future projects.

• Assist us in further improving our performance management process for business development projects.

• Gather information on acquisition multiples for companies in our industry and build a database that can be used for future acquisitions.
