We're looking for a Regulatory Affairs Manager New Energies to lead Vopak's regulatory affairs in the energy transition and strengthen our network of relations. The Regulatory Affairs Manager New Energies is part of the Global New Energies Development team and will report to the Global Director New Energies.
Masters degree in Law, Communications, Political Affairs, International Relations, Economics, Business Administration or comparable
Minimum 5 years of experience in the regulatory affairs domain and the subsidy landscape
You understand the subsidy landscape and processes
Excellent in Dutch & English both in verbal and written
Strong influencing and networking skills and demonstrated competence in the field of regulatory affairs for global and technical oriented company(ies)
Experience advocating companies interest on governmental level
Pragmatic can-do mentality and comfortable in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
Commercially driven and proven track record of growth mindset
You think in solutions, not in bottlenecks and are committed to the purpose of Vopak
Result-driven and output-oriented mindset, a self-starter

Tasks & responsibilities:
You convey the story of Vopak and specifically the Global New Energies department so that Vopak remains a leader in the energy transition. You make sure we don't miss any opportunities and therefore helps us realising our ambition to be the sustainability leader in our industry.
Drafting and executing a Regulatory Affairs strategy for New Energies within Vopak;
Maintain a close connection with relevant national & global governmental institutions and policy makers;
Advise and select fit for purpose subsidy schemes for Vopak's New Energies projects and make sure support is captured fully during execution.
Conveying the Vopak New Energies narrative at the appropriate political and governmental levels;
Represents Vopak in relevant new energies specific trade associations and help shape our industry position to mature the new energies market
Scanning relevant financial programmes such as subsidies, potential finance structures, and new opportunities for funding innovations;
Following up relevant policy developments within new energies with a specific focus for Brussels and The Hague.
