Your role and impact:

As our Team Leader, you will be a critical contributor to the smooth and safe execution of all operations and day to day activities in the terminal. As a strong team player, you will be in-charged of the Day team manpower administration, workflow scheduling and communication as well as ensuring compliance of local regulatory and company's standards. Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the smooth and safe execution of truck, drumming and tank cleaning operations.
  • Lead the team in investigations, troubleshooting and problem solving of incidents and abnormal observations.
  • Act as SMC (Site Main Controller) for emergencies arising during / after office hours until the arrival of the Operations/ Terminal manager.
  • Maintain and own the Terminal Inventory management system.
  • Coordinate with the Industrial plant turn around and planned maintenance, lead Tank / Pipeline cleaning.
  • Participate in Commission / decommission of facilities.
  • Responsible for managing the day team manpower, workflow scheduling and communication.
  • Participate in terminal improvement projects together with stakeholders.
  • Support new projects and manage contractors and communicate.
  • Manage and prepare for all audits, e.g. customers, ISO, regulatory, THA and safety audits.
  • Ensure compliance with Terminal SHEQ and VF by Operations team and contractors (including 3rd party).
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational requirements as a trained PFSO (Port Facility Security Officer), working at Height supervisor and Permit-to-Work approval.
  • Comply with local legislation and company's standards.
  • Responsible for delivering customer expectations and standards.
  • Responsible for the training and supervising of operations day team.
  • Ensure completion of staff JCP assessments & follow up on competency gap closures.
  • Support ACE program as a SME (Subject Matter Expert) trainer.
  • Manage and develop people to ensure a cohesive and motivated team.

Requirements:

  • Min 5 years of relevant terminal operations experience in similar industry
  • Min 3 years of supervisory experience
  • At least NITEC or Diploma in Chemical Process Technology
  • Wealth of hands-on knowledge of terminal operations and in depth site-specific knowledge
  • Knowledge of safety, health and environmental regulations
  • Ability to manage multiple party communication and operate under stress critical
  • Demonstrate supervisory and strong team leadership capabilities critical
  • Well verse and ability to manage emergency situation and response
  • Demonstrate capabilities in  Gas / Petroleum / Petchem operations
