Storing vital products with care

  • Performs analysis of server infrastructure environment needs and contributes to design architecture, integration and installation.

  • Analyze systems to ensure these systems meet the necessary security and make sure all systems meet performance expectations.

  • Maintains hardware and software lifecycle maintenance and asset refresh needs.

  • Works with consultants to ensure that the computer system platforms provide sufficient computing resources to deliver the desired level of business performance.

  • Coordinates with other departments in order to understand and meet their requirements.

  • Evaluates hardware and software requirements and capabilities and makes recommendations. Checks systems in order to optimize performance and to initiate recovery action after system failures.

  • Establishes budgetary requirements for equipment replacement.

  • Monitors and maintains infrastructure stability, collects and analyzes key performance metrics required for regular consumption and capacity analysis.

  • Manages computer operation scheduling, backup, storage and retrieval functions.

  • Coordinates third-party maintenance for hardware and software services.

  • Develops or establishes strong relationships with service providers.

  • Prepares and maintains documentation of platform configurations and infrastructure architecture.

  • Respond to, diagnose, and resolve support requests originating from calls, emails, trouble tickets, and alerts while meeting defined SLAs. Follow-up to ensure completion & customer satisfaction.

  • Performs other non-essential duties as assigned


Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional training in Information Systems or related subject.

Job Requirements

  • Experience managing, maintaining and configuring Windows Servers.

  • Experience managing, maintaining and configuring Windows 10.

  • Citrix experience.

  • SCCM experience.

  • Identifies problematic areas and defines and implements strategic solutions.

  • Support can range from configuring a server to installing an application on an iPhone (so there will be some level 1 support that will be needed as well).

  • Computer Networking

  • Server management

  • Virtual Desktop Configuration Management including support of common / departmental applications resource requirements

  • Application of Cloud Gateways & Interfaces, Remote Access & Security Toolsets

  • IT Service Management & Remote Management/Monitoring Tools
