Storing vital products with care

  • Abides by all safety procedures and practices applicable to location and position; participates in appropriate safety training; demonstrates commitment to and support of SH&E principles and values; champions safety as necessary
  • Assists the Project team in planning and managing the implementation of medium/large business management system projects for the company
  • Works with the project team through projects from inception, delivering specified requirements, meeting customer satisfaction, timeliness of project deliverables, within budget and with quality results
  • After initial training, act as a product expert for new platform, understanding all features and functionality of the product along with the roadmap for future functions
  • Learn skills and knowledge of company business practices to command a working knowledge of planning, scheduling, product movement and customer account management
  • Maintain advanced knowledge of each product for which they are responsible and serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME)
  • Set up the system environment, including initial testing, co-write business scenario's. This is done in close cooperation with the project team
  • Assist in updating project documentation
  • Support the project team in defining and developing best practices for business system delivery including templates, procedures and tool usage
  • Assist in data preparation; prepare and supply standard formats to assist local terminals in preparing data to be uploaded in the new platform
  • Perform testing on new workflow, scripts, or solutions prior to implementation
  • Collaborate regularly with other departments to improve processes or procedures
  • Communicate regularly with project managers on the status of the work in progress
  • Provide training and support key users, transferring knowledge and develop training plans based on specifications and roles  Provide additional training to end users (e.g. training on the job)
  • Performs other duties assigned by management that fall within the generally expected scope of this position

Required Skills

  • Ability to learn new, highly technical information and be able to train others on this information
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products, various email and internet programs and applications, financial programs, databases, and other programs used by the Company
  • Flexibility in performing tasks, adapting to changing circumstances and working in a dynamic environment
  • Travel 80-100% ; Willing to stay at a location for extended period of time (multiple months)
  • Excellent English communications skills, both oral and written; ability to write technical information in simple form; ability to communicate with all levels of organization
  • Energetic self-starter and team player
  • Excellent analytical abilities to grasp the key points from complicated details
  • Ability to identify problems, gather requirements, conduct analysis and provide accurate solutions
  • Good balance between strategic thinking and 'get things done' attitude
  • Strong collaboration skills within and out of the training team
  • Superior time management and organizational skills

Desired Skills

  • 1-2 years' of relevant work experience
  • Experience in configuration and administration in various software and hardware applications
  • Ability to adapt to different local situations around the world and different cultures
  • Excellent facilitation skills for workshops
  • Demonstrated ability to train technical product to non-technical users
  • Ability to explore, analyze and utilize various software platforms from an end user perspective
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
