This position plans and schedule daily maintenance activities. This position also maintains equipment records, work order logs, and procures all repair materials.
Coordinates daily work activities to meet daily/weekly schedule
Abides by all safety procedures and practices applicable to location and position; participates in appropriate safety training; demonstrates commitment to and support of SH&E principles and values; champions safety as necessary
Plans and schedules daily priorities for Maintenance
Interface with Project Managers and third-party contractors to clarify scope of work, level of schedule detail, and provide technical evaluation according to contractual requirements to effectively plan and manage project work
Understand and identify opportunities to improve individual equipment repair costs
Assembles work packages with detailed information for planning and execution
Maintains current work order log summary
Assists with planning all maintenance activities
Contact with vendors, and procurement of equipment and materials by submitting purchase requisitions
Develop plan to utilize contractors to manage inventory of parts and equipment for identified critical areas
Tracks and evaluates actual man-hours spent versus estimates
Maintains equipment history files and PM inspection documents. Program/process to be developed by Maintenance Supervisor
Participates in daily and/or weekly work process management meeting
Trains regularly on all Federal, state and local environmental regulations, requirements and guidelines including, but not limited to, RCRA requirements; follows and adheres to all guidelines, regulations, and requirements
Functions as a Maintenance team member
Performs other duties assigned by management that fall within the generally expected scope of this position
Participates in callout intervals
Experience Requirement
Minimum of 2 – 4 years computer operations experience
Experience with chemical, oil or technical company; terminal experience preferred
Understanding of and experience in creating record keeping systems
Excellent English communications skills, oral and written; experience working with diverse personalities; diplomatic skills
Experience working with Federal, state and local environmental regulations including RCRA
Working knowledge of regulatory requirements affecting pipeline facilities (Pipeline and Hazardous Material Safety Administration (PHMSA)
Good computer skills including ability to use Microsoft Office Suite, various email and internet programs and applications, financial software, databases, order systems, maintenance systems, and other programs used by the Company
Ability to prioritize work; multi-tasking skills; good listener; proven ability to function as a team player
Industrial planning & scheduling construction
2+ years experience with Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
Education Requirement
High School Diploma or GED
Some college courses in IT, Business, Finance, or related field preferred
