Work Location : Jakarta, Indonesia

Key Result Areas :

  • Preparation for returns, financial and management report on periodic and ad hoc basis for management, shareholders, statutory requirement
  • Monthly report
  • Quarterly report
  • Yearend report
  • Assist in budget preparation and periodic analysis
  • Assist in the periodic and year-end audits
  • Assist in reconciling G/L and deliver adequate supporting documentation
  • Review costs incurred at VTM level
  • Assist and advise on the financial review of project (E.g. Capex), customers, Supplier Contracts etc, (terms and condition especially pertaining to financial and liability exposure)
  • Regular day-to-day accounting
  • Preparation of customer invoice, credit control cash flow preparation, purchase order tracking and perform checks on supplier invoices.
  • Assist in the documentation, review and implementation of changes to processes and systems
  • Ensure effective internal control procedures/ mechanism adhered to for optimal Risk Control.
  • Ensure compliance to local legislation as well as the accounting manual, SHEQ standards, etc.
  • Assist in compiling, monitoring and reporting on KPI's, credit checking and corporate initiatives like financial excellence, CRSA, ERM, IMS, Vopak Minimum Standards, etc.
  • Ad hoc requests assigned from time to time.
  • Comply with PT Vopak Terminal Merak Safety Health Environment Policy.

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Timely & accurate reports and other overviews completed within instructed guidelines
  • Periodic accounts adequately reconciled, analyzed/ summarized and provided with supporting documentation.
  • Invoices and billings settled in timely manner
  • Ensure funding, bank balances and cash flow management are up to date, accurate and timely.
  • Ensure that outgoing payments are done correctly and in time
  • Internal customer requirement/satisfaction
  • Accounting system templates (finance, address book, Invoicing) are in order.
  • Quality and timely implementation of changes to processes and systems.
  • Ad-hoc tasks are fully and promptly carried out.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor Degree in Finance,  Accounting  with about 3 - 4 years related work experience.
  • Familiar with accounting software, good understanding of local tax and accounting rules, as well as IFRS and other international Accounting Standards.
  • Good analytical, Interpersonal and pro-active oriented skills.
  • High level of integrity.
  • Strong in Microsoft Excel literacy.
  • Strong resilient in upholding corporate governance & statutory requirements.
  • Good command of English both written and spoken.
  • Able to plan, organize, set priorities and deliver.
