Your role and impact:

As our Division Implementation Manager, you will be a critical contributor to the Operations Technology team, taking care of the global roll out of the current and future digital agenda of Vopak.  As a strong team player, you will be in-charged of planning, coordinating and managing the implementation and dependencies of the digital roadmap (including IT/OT integrations, innovations) of Vopak in the operating companies so that the change ability of the organization is strongly improved through a common methodology, experienced project resources and supporting project resources.  Are you ready to make an impact on our growing business in our region?   • Portfolio management: Includes project prioritization, strategic alignment, portfolio reporting, resource management allocation according to project prioritization and objectives, opportunities and investment analyses, risk management and benefits realization tracking & reporting. The divisional project prioritization will be aligned with the overall global PMO planning
  • Integrated division planning, budget and scope control: Composes and manages the division project planning & budget for all the digital applications to be implemented
  • Project / program delivery management: Supports project resource management, project risk management, stakeholder management, communication, change management and project integration. Participates in the local project Steering Committee.
  • Standards, methodologies and PM processes: Ensured the global methodologies (including toolkits) for implementation and change management (VPM for IT/MOVES) is applied within the division  and  improved.
  • Governance and performance management: Focuses on performance reporting, issue escalation, information distribution, metrics and KPIs, compliance and financial management, organizes audits on local projects. Ensures the quality of the project close out reports.
  • Administration: Provides and coordinates the toolkits for local projects, for all steps in the projects
  • Knowledge management: Builds knowledge as we go, for the benefit of following implementations
  • General Management: Functionally leads the Terminal Project Managers/teams
  • Stakeholder engagement: Is the linking pin between local project management, Terminal management, Division Management and PMO implementation managers (Moves)


  • Business degree and demonstrable experience (10+ years) with implementing Business Improvement Programs and embedding change into the organization
  • Enthusiastic leader who is able to steer on results while motivating and supporting his teams.
  • Experience with managing IT implementations, being aware of the risk areas and success drivers and has successfully executed 2 or more large international roll-outs
  • Proven track record in implementation of business applications in operational and CS environments
  • Knowledge of the Vopak service delivery process (OVE) and solutions, including relevant integration aspects
  • Acquainted with Vopak's operational standards like Product Movement, Stock Management
  • Proven project management track record, including quality assurance, planning, scope management and budget controls.
  • Able to organize and structure the projects in a dynamic environment.
  • Operate as trusted advisor with organizational sensitivity towards all stakeholders
  • Has recognized leadership and project management skills ; Project management certificate (PRINCE2)
  • Understanding of LEAN and/or Six Sigma processes as part of the definition of business and user requirements and software solution developments
  • Advanced level of English Language and masters Google suite of applications
  • Resides in Division Office. Frequent travel to local projects can be expected
