Responsibilities:

  • Process owner for financial modelling, analysis, data analytics, cost management, capex spend monitoring and tracking.
  • Implement and execute the business analyses projects, plans and systems, in close cooperation with the Finance Manager, in order to ensure effective and efficient data & business analytics.
  • Develop ‘fit for purpose' ideas, KPI's and reporting templates to facilitate challenging senior management in enhancing the overall performance of our portfolio of terminals
  • Execute and report on in-depth financial economic analyses of business plans and results, in line with the planning and control in order to provide a sustainable basis for management decisions.
  • Drive data analytics and its related initiatives
  • Drive capex spend tracking and engagement.
  • Process owner for assessing, monitoring, and managing risk, its impact on the business and its reporting
  • Engage internal stakeholders and key business partners on Enterprise Risk Management (ERM).
  • Process owner for managing, tracking all leases, insurance matters and its reporting.
  • Responsible for data driven, continuous process improvement. 
  • Support and engage in external business related activities and stakeholder management, eg., EDB, JTC, Maple Tree
  • Responsible to seek continuous improvement in particular to optimize the usage of data, technology, automation
  • Lead Drive data driven process improvement projects for relevant process work streams including creating Dashboards, automating data flows and tools for proactive decision making using data

Requirements:

  • At least 3-5 years of relevant  experience in finance and analytics
  • Degree in Finance, Accountancy or Business or professional qualification in Accountancy
  • CA or CPA preferred
  • Proven strong analytical skills and conceptual capabilities. Comfortable with diverse types of data flows.
  • In-depth understanding of financial reporting and financial management concepts
  • Problem solving and process improvement abilities
  • ERP or system knowledge in Oracle and Tagetik (reporting software)
  • Expertise in IFRS and local statutory requirements are preferred
  • Data Analytics skills like Python, Qlik Sense etc. will be an advantage.
