this vacancy
This is a permanent position which involves shift work including night and weekend work, reports to Operations Manager. The position is available for immediate start.
Terminal Operator plays a key role in operating the terminal in East Arm, Darwin.
Key responsibilities of the role (but not limited to):
- Assisting with the loading and unloading of tankers
- Checking and preparing tanks to receive, store and distribute product from the ships.
- Supporting the management of operational logs and documentation
- Liaising with 3rd party service providers to ensure efficient delivery of service
- Overseeing contractor activities on site
- Carrying out required safety, environmental and operational checks
- Providing operations support with system preparation, hot watch or confined space stand by for maintenance & projects related activities.
