Job Profile Summary
As a part of the US Southern Region Management team, the Sr. Business Development Manager will create, execute and accelerate the organization's regional business development strategy, including extending the current market position to ensure increased revenue and growth. This position is responsible for:
Managing the daily BD activities and brownfield /greenfield business development for the US Southern Region;
Partnering with the commercial team to develop business expansion proposals; executing projects that lead to positive strategic results.

Requirements
A college degree in business, engineering or other related field
MBA preferred
Experience in a related industry highly desirable
Minimum 7 years of experience in business development or origination
Proven track record of successful growth generation and/or business development success in identifying, incubating, developing, and closing greenfield/brownfield investment and M&A projects
Ability to build strong and collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders aimed at accelerating the company’s growth
Active current knowledge of market conditions, including customer and competitor information in the chemical, logistics, and storage industry in the US Gulf Coast.
Working experience of financial concepts including but not limited to return on investment, profitability, credit-worthiness, economic modeling, and discipline in the use of financial instruments to support deal structuring and investment decisions.
Proven negotiation skills including the ability to identify, influence, and close.
Working proficiency level in MS Office and/or Google applications
Analytical abilities with experience to apply logical frameworks to complex problems
Capable of drawing on expertise in relevant groups to structure, negotiate, design, and implement accretive deals
High level of organization and a structured approach to workload in a fast paced environment
Excellent English communications skills, both oral and written, including outstanding presentation skills.

Task & Responsibilities:
Drives overall business development objectives to identify business opportunities; initiates and develops business development proposals, investment plans, and their associated budget impacts;
Develops and implements programs designed to identify brownfield/greenfield growth opportunities and increase market share; understands and develops market share information, research on competitors, customers, and market potential.
Manages and/or participates in mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, new build projects, and major expansions to achieve agreed business development project objectives.
Proactively establishes strategic partnerships along the supply chain leveraging shareholder resources to achieve cost competitiveness and service flexibility.
Participates on the US Southern Region management team.
An advocate and leadership role model of compliance, ethics, ESG ,and EHS culture.
