Project Manager

Start as a Project Manager at Vopak Energy Terminals Netherlands and ensure the implementation and operational transfer of the projects according to the Vopak Project Management (VPM) standards.

What will you do as a Project Manager?

You ensure that the projects run smoothly. You recognize project risks and proactively mitigate them to achieve flawless project execution. Together with the technical manager, you ensure clear and timely communication to the various stakeholders.

• A gross annual salary between € 71.061 and €  106.591 depending on your experience, knowledge and attractive bonuses.

What do we expect from you as a Project Manager?

To be successful as a Project Manager, you know better than anyone that collaboration is essential. Safety within projects, both in a theoretical sense and during the execution of the projects, is essential. You are in control, and you know exactly when deadlines are and whether the project is running within schedule and budget.

• Completed HBO/WO education in Mechanical, Civil or E&I Engineering, supplemented with at least 5 years of work experience with (maintenance) projects.

• Knowledge of project management tools and standards, project management systems.

• Thorough knowledge of relevant legislation & regulations and standards (environmental permits, PGS29, etc.)

• Demonstrable experience in leading a team of professionals and managing a portfolio of projects

• Excellent knowledge of the Dutch and English language, spoken and written.

What does your day look like?

• Responsible for and ensuring performance in the areas of health, safety, environment and quality within the projects and is an active promoter of improvements in SHE performance within the projects and within Vopak.

• Management of the relationship with the (main) contractors regarding the projects.

• Provide project reports and proactively inform stakeholders about safety, progress, budget, quality, scope and project risks.

• Responsible for leading the management of change process and project evaluations.
