Project Engineer E&I

What will you do as a Project Engineer E&I?

• Fulfilling the role of project manager for one or more E&I projects that are realized under your management;

• Developing and executing projects according to the Vopak Project Management methodology (VPM) in close collaboration with internal customers and other stakeholders;

• Be part of multidisciplinary project teams in which you fulfill the role of Project engineer E&I;

• Involved in the coordination of the construction phase and fulfilling a coordinating role in the final delivery to the operations and maintenance department;

• In most cases, the engineering and construction is carried out by specialized contractors, with the Project Engineer remaining responsible for safety, quality, progress and costs;

• Ensure that all government and safety requirements, technical specifications and user requirements are met;

• For awarded projects, responsible for the total project handling in the context of MOC (management of change);

• Supporting the Vopak Netherlands terminals with E&I technical issues.

What do we have to offer you?

• A gross annual salary between € 60.995 and € 100.207 depending on your experience, knowledge and attractive bonuses.

What do we expect from you as a Project Engineer E&I?

• Completed HBO Bachelor's degree, preferably in Electrical Engineering or Industrial Automation;

• At least 3-5 years of demonstrable experience in project management in the storage or process industry;

• Experience in working with a project management methodology;

• Extensive experience in carrying out brownfield projects;

• Knowledge and experience in the field of medium voltage installations is an advantage;

• Knowledge and experience in the field of electrical engineering, instrumentation and industrial automation;

• Knowledge in the field of Atex, SIL, NEN-1010;

• Good command of the Dutch and English language, spoken and written;

• Able to maintain contacts with both internal and external parties in a professional manner;

• Strong in writing and documenting project documents, reports, etc.
