What will you do as a Project Engineer Automation?

In this role you are responsible for the development and implementation of the architecture of our terminal automation. What is that exactly? Terminal Automation provides monitoring, control and management of the product handling process, from receipt and storage to distribution. You and the team will support our terminals and suppliers with technical guidance for automation and preparation for implementation. The result is a flawless implementation of a terminal automation solution that leads to continuously shorter time to market, higher quality and cost efficiency.

What do we have to offer you?

• A gross annual salary between € 60.995 and € 100.207 depending on your experience, knowledge and attractive bonuses.

What do we expect from you as a Project Engineer Automation?

• A completed HBO education in industrial automation, control technology, electrical engineering or similar qualifications.

• At least 3-5 years of work experience, preferably with projects in the field of process or production automation.

• You have knowledge of PLC/SCADA, networks and DCS systems.

• You are also driven and have good organizational and communication qualities and can work well in a team.

What does your day look like?

• Working with a project team on small and large technical projects at the Europoort terminal.

• Drawing up specifications and functional descriptions in consultation with other disciplines (operation, process, E&I).

• Coordinating and directing work on PLC/SCADA systems in collaboration with our in-house contractors.

• Testing and commissioning of new installations.

• Advising and supporting the terminal in the field of automation.

• Updating the technical documentation of the installations.
