What will you do as a Project Controls Manager?
As a Project Controls Manager you lead a team that provides internal controls and analyses of projects. You develop a long-term vision for continuous improvement of data analysis, procedures and reporting. In addition, you manage the CAPEX portfolio of the Europe & Africa division and identify corrective actions during review meetings.

What do we expect from you as a Project Controls Manager?
A Technical or Accounting/Finance Master's degree.
7+ years of work experience in project controls, preferably in a similar industry.
Leadership qualities and the ability to plan ahead.
Excellent oral and written skills in both Dutch and English.
What does your day look like?
As Manager Project Controls, you lead a team of 3 colleagues and you ensure the optimization of internal (project) controls and analyses to complete projects within budget and planning. Your team supports the division by keeping the portfolio system up-to-date and acts as a gatekeeper for internal controls and procedures.
Your core responsibilities are:
Developing a strategy and vision for improving internal controls, estimates, reporting and analysis.
Defining and aligning user requirements for reporting and IT tools.
Ensuring data integrity and compliance with IFRS and Vopak accounting rules for CAPEX projects.
Leading the quarterly reporting cycle for CAPEX projects.
Reporting the progress, trends, deviations and risk analysis of the project portfolio.
Setting up and monitoring KPIs.
