What will you do as a Procurement Specialist?
The Procurement Specialist will manage and streamline the RFQ (Request for Quotation) process for spend thresholds between $25K and $100K, ensuring efficient procurement and adherence to standard processes. This role will also handle KPI reporting and contractor management, supporting the transition from P2P (Procure-to-Pay) to S2P (Source-to-Pay), and contribute to risk mitigation and process improvement. This position will support all Terminals under the USA and Canada Business Unit.

What do we expect from you as a Procurement Specialist?
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably within a similar spend range.
Strong understanding of procurement processes, RFQ management, and contract administration.
Proficiency in procurement software and tools, with experience in Oracle Fusion or similar systems preferred.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
What does your day look like?
Your core responsibilities are:
RFQ Management:
Oversee the RFQ process for procurement activities within the $25K to $100K spend range.
Ensure timely and efficient procurement operations by evaluating supplier quotes and negotiating terms.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all RFQ activities and decisions.
Process Efficiency:
Implement strategies to streamline procurement processes and reduce the need for frequent waivers from standard procedures.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure procurement activities align with organizational goals and standards.
KPI Reporting:
Prepare and manage KPI reports related to procurement activities, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Monitor and analyze procurement performance metrics to identify trends and areas for enhancement.
Contractor Management:
Manage relationships with contractors, ensuring compliance with contract terms and performance standards.
Address and resolve any issues or disputes related to contractor performance.
Transition Support:
Support the transition from P2P to S2P by aligning procurement processes with new system requirements and best practices.
Assist in assessing risks associated with the transition and developing strategies to address them.
Process Improvement:
Contribute to the ongoing refinement of procurement processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to recommend improvements and innovations.
