Position Summary
This position supports the growth of the Americas Operations and Technology Division team. Helps to govern and optimize Americas’ Service & Operations, Asset Management, IT/OT and SHE & Sustainability functions by implementing the company’s standards framework, and digitization efforts in accordance with Vopak’s vision; liaises with all terminals and Division offices. Ensures the analysis and reporting of the functional data to the highest level of quality, and efficiency at an executive level.
Requirements
3 to 5 years in information systems management, data science, and data analytics
4-year college degree in a technical field
Expert in Qliksense and other data analytics tools desirable
Experience in developing, evaluating, and analyzing complex amounts of information from technical systems/software and able to communicate it to an executive level
Bilingual: English/ Spanish preferred
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
Understanding of data analytics
Strong analytical skills
Consulting focus. Must be able to consult business as well as multiple development teams on utilizing data
Ability to work independently to achieve exceptional results.
Strong communication, interpersonal skills, customer service skills, and customer focus.
Works well within tight deadlines (able to prioritize).

Task & Responsibilities:
Abides by all safety procedures and practices applicable to location and position; participates in appropriate safety training; demonstrates commitment to and support of SHE (Safety, Health, and Environmental) principles and values; champions safety
Operations - Review and Analyze Operational KPIs to support terminals with further improvements
Operations - SME and support for Qlik Sense training for all Americas locations.
Asset Management - Support Sustaining Capex monthly reporting process; scheduling, documentation, and analysis of results and dashboards
Asset Management - Periodically analyze the M&R spend budgets -Opex
Asset Management - Prepare Quarterly Maintenance KPI report in LookerStudio, and support quarterly Asset Management report preparation
Asset Management - Support the 3YMP budget cycle, coordination of budget reviews, data quality, integrity, and analysis of plan submittals
SHE - Reviews and analyzes SHE KPIs monthly and helps prepare monthly flash reports
SHE - uses data analytics to review incidents, near misses and observations from audits and Trust & Verify program to create dashboards and graphs
SHE - supports SHE Director on preparing monthly calls and reports with data from Vopak’s systems such as Enablon and Qlik Sense
Sustainability - Reviews and follows up with terminals on their sustainability projects to update the Americas Division Greenhouse gas (GHG) Dashboard, and assesses the data to verify calculations and target achievement
Sustainability - supports new projects assessments by calculating and analyzing GHG emissions for the project
Sustainability - Analyzes data from energy consumption at terminals to describe reasons for increases or decreases, and prepares quarterly sustainability reports for Global Sustainability
Data Analytics champion
Data Analytics: support Opcos on ADAN projects.
