WHO YOU ARE

To be successful in this role candidates must be able to demonstrate:

  • Good  understanding of strategic asset management and maintenance execution within Major Hazard Facilities
  • Knowledge of local and international infrastructure codes and standards
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong professional ethics with high integrity
  • High level of organisational planning and time management skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders

WHAT YOU’LL DO

This is a Sydney based permanent role, reporting to the Terminal Manager.

Tasks include but are not limited to the following:

  • Provide effective management to ensure contractor safety, work execution with a high level of performance and discipline
  • Overseeing and leading maintenance activities and projects such as inspection, repair, upgrade of the facilities to comply with Vopak Standards and local regulatory requirements
  • Developing maintenance planning strategies and schedules based on the criticality review results, maintenance procedures, audit results and Vopak standards
  • Ensuring that all assets perform as per the performance standards mentioned in the safety case, EPL (Environment Protection Licences), conditions of consent and all other associated legislative or statutory requirements
  • Management of asset inspections, reviewing inspection results and determining follow up actions in a timely and accurate manner
  • Monitoring of resource utilisation for preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure cost control
  • Leading development of document control for maintenance management and ensuring all records are stored in the designated system
  • Conducting and/or participating in periodic internal reviews or audits
  • Managing and providing effective leadership to the Reliability and Maintenance Engineers
