Maintenance Manager

Job Function:

Facility management

• Manage maintenance dept. daily work.
• Organize people for emergency maintenance. 
• Ensure full compliance to Protection Maintenance plan.
• Compile and update baseline (inspection frequency requirements) document. 
• Compile critical equipment list; ensure all critical equipment is available for use correct manner. 
• Formulate annual maintenance plan. 
• Establish the equipment’s technical documents and maintenance management documents.  Management of spares and fittings and work areas storage that has been allocated for maintenance use. 

People management

• Responsible for the performance management of the department staff, and provide feedback on their performance. 
• Formulate and implement the dept. training plan, Assist employees to identify training needs based on performance review feedback and role requirements. 
• Assist Admin.dept. for the maintenance dept. people planning, recruit and select new staff when required.  
• Ensure that all people roles in maintenance and objectives are clear and understood. 
• Manage the resourcing of the team (Including all leave and work schedules). 
• Assist and develop the prospective employees.

Budget management

• Make the annual maintenance budget plan and implement it.
• Assist TM to formulate and implement the FYMP, update terminal master plan, prepare and manage terminal budget for both expenses and CAPEX. 
• As a team leader on sustainability (Energy Team) and provide necessary reports on usage and savings.

Operational excellence

• Comply with VMM / VOPAK WAY/THA/SAFETY FUNDAMENTAL.
• Formulate and update as required, Maintenance Procedures and Work Instructions so as to ensure work is performed in accordance with current Company Documented Management System, safety and quality standards, governmental and inner customers’ requirements. 
• Improving customer service and saving energy through LEAN programs.

SHE Management

• Ensure all employees to take part in all SHE activity.
• Ensure all maintenance work including related contractor work is undertaken according to SHE requirement.  
• Ensure all SHE facility and equipment is running well and regularly maintained.
• Ensure maintenance staff take part in emergency planning with special skills of pipe leakage controls. 

Responsible for VQJ SHEQ Policy

Other work and post as required by the company.

Minimum requirements:

Education: College degree or above in mechanics or equivalent.

Experience: Having 5 or more years of experience in the chemical industry. Having 2 or more years of experience in people and facility management.

Languages: Good English in writing and oral. CET-4.

Computer: Familiar with office software, e.g. Word, Excel, AutoCAD, PowerPoint, etc.
