What will you do as a Maintenance Co-ordinator?
As a Maintenance Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for effective and efficient execution of work orders by planning & scheduling the work orders and ensuring that conditions are fulfilled for scheduling the work orders for execution.

What do we expect from you as an Maintenance Co-ordinator?
3-5 years of relevant maintenance experience in similar industry
At least 3 years experience as a Team Coordinator
At least 3 GCE ‘O’ level credits (including a Science subject) / ITE or Diploma equivalent in maintenance
Wealth of hands-on knowledge of terminal operations and in depth site-specific knowledge
In depth knowledge of products, equipment
Knowledge of safety, health and environmental regulations and practices
Ability to manage multiple party communication and operate under stress critical
Demonstrate supervisory and strong team leadership capabilities
Well Verse and ability to manage emergency situation and response
Demonstrate capabilities in Gas / Petroleum / Petchem operations

Your core responsibilities are:
Perform site maintenance activities, reviewing and providing input while working within the established site maintenance plan to achieve pre-established outcomes
Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment and systems for emergency repairs and carry out preventive maintenance inspections
Establishing the type of corrective maintenance and requested completion date, based on the analyses of each asset in failure, in order to create the required work order
Ensure that the contractors, subcontractors, workforce are aware of the work to be executed
Obtain approvals for the necessary permits to instruct workforce and contractors to act
Responsible for collecting the prepared and approved work permits, request extension of work permits if necessary and/or support the Planner maintenance in the permit preparation
Train and develop team member in maintenance activities competency
Train, coach & guide Maintenance team members in performance improvements
Conduct staff performance review and appraisal
Ensure completion of staff JCP assessments & follow up on competency gap closures
Manage and develop people to ensure a cohesive and motivated team.
Lead & encourage the Team in a positive manner to adapt to changes in the company direction
Supervise, train and coach technicians and contractors in activities relating to Maintenance work
Assist in talent and succession planning of the workforce
Plan and coordinate testing and inspection of products and processes. Implement corrective actions or continuous improvement initiatives, and monitor them to make sure they are effective
Responsible for the planning of the Work order, within job safety assessment, permit to work and procurement requirements, in order to ensure that conditions are fulfilled to schedule the Work order for execution
Determine the required activities to execute the work order (determine what activities, sequence, procedures, parts, services, own labor, responsible supervisor, tools and/or material lists are needed and determine feasibility of Work order, whether MOC process needs to be triggered and whether JSA is required)
Plan own labor, if required, identify and plan own labor force
Assign short-term work schedules to a team in order to achieve expectations while following established timelines
Obtain approval for maintenance costs on assets when estimated maintenance costs exceed a determined limit
Determine whether inspection reports are required before closure
Reschedule Work order for execution - Establish earliest start date and duration
Establish a suitable time slot for the activity or grouped activities, based parameters concerning duration of activity or grouped activities, delivery dates/availability of
required services, parts and tools, in order to determine the earliest start date and duration of the work orders
Execute the formal closure of the Work order, checks the administration and defines closing of Work order and type of failure being corrected
Responsible for analyzing the reported problem based on the information from the work request and identifying the asset in failure (corrective maintenance)
Support the Maintenance Manager in validating the Work request for maintenance
Follow the organization's HS&E policies, procedures and mandatory instructions; to identify and mitigate risks, and to safeguard the environment and the wellbeing of all employees
Ensure that the execution of work order and monitor the progress and inform Maintenance Managers and stakeholders of the progress
Check and ensure that all activities in the work order are executed as planned and checks whether the asset, that is the functional location, is working again according to required standards
Take required action in order to verify the result of the executed work order and ensure acceptance by the asset owner
Arrange the operational acceptance and support running tests on the asset
Establish any deviations and validations by the Maintenance Engineer to determine the required follow up actions before handing over the asset to Operations
Ensure all work orders are executed in accordance with regulatory and SHE standards
Establish and book the actual start and end date of the work order, its activities including relevant information regarding the technical closure of the work order
Responsible for gathering and checking the completeness of information including costs generated by the work order
Allocate / register the costs to the asset (for services, parts, tools and labour) and if parts from stock were used, update the inventory
Store / link the inspection reports to the work order / asset and initiate the update.
Review inspection reports, determines follow up actions and has the inspection report and follow up actions validated in case of legal, SCE, high cost or operations impact
Responsible for establishing the type of corrective maintenance and requested completion date, based on the analyses of each asset in failure, in order to create the required Work order
Support the Maintenance Manager is classifying work requests in fastlane work orders and informing the Supervisor Maintenance of the fastlane work orders
Work closely and be consulted by the Maintenance Engineer about the scope of work in the Preventive Maintenance Schedule in order to establish which default activities need to be performed as part of the PM Work orders
Provide inputs to the Maintenance Engineer on the development of the 3-year Maintenance Plan
Work with Maintenance Engineer on the execution of this plan
Seek continuous optimization in efficiency, costs, work lead-time, asset downtime by clustering of Work orders, tools, resources and use of infrastructure
Communicate and coordinate the maintenance schedule to all internal and external parties
Balance the requirements of the different departments and is excellent in logistics and communication
