IT Support Officer

WHAT YOU'LL DO

This is a permanent full-time position based in Sydney or Darwin. This position will report to the IT/OT Manager and is available for immediate start.

Key responsibilities of the role:

• Deliver high levels of customer service to internal and external stakeholders in relation to ICT
• Provide technical assistance to all end users and support the roll-out of hardware and software solutions
• Coordinate and collaborate with all stakeholders to ensure all IT-related issues are addressed in an efficient and effective manner
• Support day-to-day operations activities related to IT/OT infrastructure and maintain documentation of ICT systems
• Monitor helpdesk tickets, plan and prioritise to minimise backlog and maintain an IT Asset Register for software and hardware
• Monitor and maintain all Vopak servers to ensure high availability and uptimes achieved according to agreed SLAs
• Ensure all back-ups are performed and data validity tested as per the backup procedure

WHO YOU ARE

• Motivated and energetic team player and good at delivering the outcomes
• Passionate about challenging the status quo and continuous improvements
• Relevant ICT qualification or 2-3 years of experience in an IT or OT support role
• Working experience with Microsoft applications and operating systems, especially in Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, Windows 10, Google Cloud and VMWare vSphere
• High attention to detail and enjoy working autonomously
• Able to travel interstate when required
