As Innovation Manager Asset Management, you will be responsible to progress our asset management innovation ambition by identifying and developing identified opportunities to enable implementation in our network of terminals.. This position requires to stay on top of the developments in digital technology within asset management and to develop the innovation projects based on the best available and competitive technology.  
 

Asset Management Ambition

We want to be the best data driven asset performance terminal operator, utilizing our assets to the maximum benefits for our customers and ourselves. We aim to achieve our vision through high quality and real time data based decision making. Data will be collected via sensors (ultimately) and analyzed on platforms, allowing us to move from preventive and corrective maintenance to condition based prescriptive maintenance. We foresee our terminals will become as autonomous as possible, managed by exceptions, taking assets out of service only for condition based maintenance thereby reducing confined space entry and improving safety. 

We want to drive innovation in asset management through the skill, knowledge and experience of our people and the roadmap endorsed by our stratcom.
 

Key responsibilities/accountabilities 

• Digital Innovation

  • Ensure that all the best available technologies are considered and evaluated against the functional requirements defined for the approved projects in the asset management innovation roadmap

  • Work closely with the SMEs & global AM to expand the functional requirements further 

  • Develop blueprint of the solution working closely with the SMEs and global asset management
     

• Project Management

  • Take complete responsibility for the Innovation solution  and get it approved for implementation 

• Implementation of Innovation

  • During implementation of the digital solution, continue to support as global product owner or roll out consultant 

• Liaising and aligning with Global IT departments

  • During the definition stage and as part of the FIP, ensure alignment with all relevant Global IT departments to ensure that the proposed solution fits within the reference architecture, satisfies all security requirements and is manageable by the standing organization after implementation
     

• Stakeholder Management

  • Remain engaged with the SME’s from the relevant large terminals/divisions/global ensuring that innovative potential of the proposed digital technology is broadly understood and fully aligned with the strategic goals defined in the roadmap

Qualification/experience

• University degree or equivalent in relevant discipline

• Preferably experienced in asset management, performance improvement, digital transformation, change management

• Knowledge of the digital solutions available in the market for asset monitoring, inspection & maintenance
