Position Summary
This position functions as the customer’s primary point of contact and take ownership of order processing, addresses service issues, and handles reporting.
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED required
College courses in Business, Finance, Hospitality, or related field helpful
Minimum of 3 – 5 years experience in customer service and general office work; accounting background helpful
3 – 5 years terminal or plant experience; operations experience helpful
Knowledge of operational and administrative requirements for products of specified customers
Understanding of customer’s internal logistics processes; knowledge of customer products stored with Company; information on key success factors for customer
Knowledge of operational and administrative requirements for products
Experience working with Federal, state and local environmental regulations including RCRA preferred
Customer service focus; ability to deal with diverse personalities; negotiation and conflict resolution skills
Knowledge of Company processes and infrastructure; ability to locate customer information including contracts
Excellent English communications skills including ability to read, write, and speak fluently; ability to communicate with transportation workers and co-workers; ability to read and apply strapping tables
Solid computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, various email and internet programs and applications, financial software programs, sales/order database systems, rail car management and billing systems, and customers’ systems as applicable

Task & Responsibilities:
Abides by all safety procedures and practices applicable to location and position; participates in appropriate safety training; demonstrates commitment to and support of SH&E principles and values; champions safety as necessary
Provides single point of contact to customer for order processing for all modes of transportation, land, marine and pipeline; handles paperwork involved; updates appropriate systems and databases
Handles order processing for product with two components and two additional operational services
Handles quality documentation, research and reporting for any non-compliance issues
Schedules railcars and trucks as necessary
Performs simple inventory functions; monitors inventory levels; send reports
Prepares special reports as requested; handles special projects requested by customer
Maintains and files completed orders; verifies and acts upon deviations for completed orders; performs basic research; reports on findings; generates order correction requests
Monitors truck shipments; acts on deviations including late arrivals or those that do not arrive
Maintains customer rail car fleets used for product movement in or out of Company facilities
Trains regularly on all Federal, state and local environmental regulations, requirements and guidelines including, but not limited to, RCRA requirements; follows and adheres to all guidelines, regulations, and requirements
Participates in the daily Operations meeting as requested
Attends meetings with customers
Participates in improvement projects
Maintains internal and external reports; monitors accuracy
Generates billing for overtime charges on tank truck and tank car storage
Maintains sales database/order database system; creates order templates
Trains new Customer Service Representatives as requested
Functions as a team member with other Customer Service Representatives
Performs other duties assigned by management that fall within the generally expected scope of this position
