Casual Operator

WHAT YOU’LL DO

This is a Darwin based on-call casual position which will involve shift work including night and weekend work, reports to Operations Manager.

You will be expected to do:

• Attending routine operational and safety checks during the transfer of petroleum products
• Monitoring product quality at the wharf pipeline during the transfer of petroleum product
• Carrying out pipeline draining & clearance operations including pigging operations from the wharf to the terminal
• All safety, environmental, and product quality issues and operational delays are communicated to the shift supervisor
• Connecting and disconnecting terminal loading arms and hoses to sea-going vessels

WHO YOU ARE

• Positive can-do attitude and flexible availability
• Hands on and enjoy being outdoor environment
• Have trade background
• Your experience within the wharf, shipping, marine cargo and oil & gas sector would be well regarded but not essential
